www.sioto.orgMonkey Jump FAQs
Why is my child only allowed to play on certain inflatables?
Our inflatable manufacturer’s set specific limitations on each of our inflatables. The Ohio
Department of Agriculture (our regulators) expect us to maintain and follow each of these guidelines
for height and weight requirements. The limitations allow us to make sure your child(ren) have a safe
and fun experience at Monkey Jump by playing with children the same size as yours!

Are adults ever allowed on the inflatables with children?
During our Family Fun Nights on Fridays this winter, adults will be allowed to participate on
designated inflatables. It is for our jumpers' safety that we do not allow adults on any inflatable in
our facility during our normal scheduled open jump times.

Why do you only have certain inflatables up during your daytime open jump hours?
During our winter daytime hours we are more geared towards the “Toddler Crowd” (ages walking-4).
We will have all of our larger inflatables up during our evening and weekend hours. Also, select school
holidays we will have our larger inflatables up for our older jumpers to enjoy!!

What happens during your Tuesday, “Jump, Craft, and Story Time”?
On Tuesdays, we have our “Jump, Craft, and Story Time” for ages 2-5. We do ½ hour of jump time, 10
minutes on a fun craft, and the last bit we read a story or play a fun game! We’d love for you to come
and visit us, we begin promptly at 10:00 and go until 11:00. Cost is $5.00/child during our summer
hours and $4.00/child for our winter hours.

How do I know your inflatables are safe for my child(ren) to play on?
As mentioned above, the inflatable manufacturer’s set specific height and weight guidelines for each
inflatable. The Ohio Department of Agriculture’s division of Amusement Ride and Safety(the same
people that inspect Cedar Point) make routine visits to check and see that we are following all of our
anchoring, maintenance, cleaning, and height and weight guidelines on a regular basis. For any of our
inflatables to be up in our facility we are required to have a Ride Permit, Insurance, and initial
inspection performed by the Amusement Ride and Safety employees before anyone is allowed to use
any inflatable. You can visit the Amusement Ride and Safety website through the
Ohio Deparment of
Agriculture website.  We are also members of www.sioto.org (a certification center for inflatable
safety).

How often do you clean your inflatables?
Sanitation is very important to us at Monkey Jump. Each inflatable goes through a routine cleaning
process that includes a bleach solution to get rid of any possible germs left from our visitors. We
also make sure to clean any of the balls you see throughout the facility along with our entrance mats
on a routine cleaning list.

What is the check-in process to bring my child(ren) in for your Open Jump times?
When you arrive at our facility you will come into our main lobby area. There you will need to sign our
waiver form along with a sheet that explains all of our safety rules. One of our staff will wristband
your child according to their height and go over several safety rules with your jumpers. They will
need to take their shoes off (but keep socks on!!) and you will make your way to our jumping area.   If
you are bringing someone else’s child to jump you will sign them in under you as their chaperone!

Can I leave my child(ren) alone to play at Monkey Jump?
Drop-offs are NOT permitted at Monkey Jump. We ask that all of our adult chaperones stay with
their jumpers to make sure they are participating safely and enjoying themselves. You are more than
welcome to come and visit our Coffee Bar located in the lobby area and enjoy a latte or mocha!!

What type of food do you serve at Monkey Jump?
We do not serve lunch or dinner at Monkey Jump. We do have a full-service coffee bar, canned pop,
specialty drinks and several snack items(cookies, brownies, muffins, and chips) for our parents and
jumpers to enjoy in our main area.  We also offer pizza on Friday nights for Family Fun Night and
during birthday parties (as an option).

How do I go about booking a birthday party?
You have several options: you can call us at anytime (419-874-5771) or send us a quick e-mail(
admin@monkey-jump.com) and we can check our availability for a day you are interested in. We
recommend at least a 2 week notice for booking parties. We do collect a $50.00 deposit at the time
of booking. This holds your day and time and is applied to your final bill when you checkout.
